刘雲祥，男，汉族，1990年11月生，中共党员，青海海东人，博士，副研究员（内聘），硕士研究生导师，农业昆虫与害虫防治专业，青海省“昆仑英才·高端创新创业人才”直接认定拔尖人才，“陕西省百篇优秀博士论文”获得者。先后主持国家自然科学基金、青海省自然科学基金、国家重点实验室开放课题、教育部重点实验室开放课题、青海大学青年基金-重点建设项目等科研项目；研究成果以第一作者或第一通讯作者在《Systematic Entomology》,《Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution》,《International Journal of Biological Macromolecules》, 《Heredity》,《BMC Evolutionary Biology》,《Insects》,《Systematics and Biodiversity》,《Frontiers in Microbiology》等SCI期刊上发表论文16篇；参编专著3部；获得专利4项；登记省级科技成果2项。

昆虫系统学与生物多样性、进化生物学、谱系地理学、昆虫行为生态学（生物声学）、农业害虫绿色防控方面的研究。
